Uhhhhhhhh this list is even longer than I realized? It’s a long list. 

Things of note before going into this list

- I am a Sailor Moon and Magical Girl nerd so unsurprisingly many of my faves have similar habits. 

- I tend to get really excited by animators? So many of these blogs I followed because they did cool animation.

They also vary in activity wildly - some being very active and others posting one new piece only every few months. Both are very good schedules to me. I LOVE ALL OF THIS. 

Anyway, in no particular order.

@curbananimation - Cute art and animation, including fanart and animation for TAZ and Friends at the Table. Many good Taakos. 

@docbedoodle - also a fun livestreamer and gamer at @gloomy-optimist. Digital art with a tabletop/video gaming bent. I looove it. And such soothing livestreams. 

@susandrawsthings - Expressive af. Not gonna lie, I often follow art blogs that make me think “If I were to write [some idea I have], I’d want it animated in this style”, and this is absolutely 100% one of those. Such a MOOD to the work!

@abby-howard This is cheating because Abby is already Internet Famous and her webcomics are amaze, but if you aren’t reading The Last Halloween yet, you should, and also Abby has the best best best sense of humor of all time. 

@lulusketches - background artist on Tangled the Series and video blogger, Lulu’s entire body of work just radiates optimism? My eyes hurt? I cannot look at something so lovely and bright with my gollum eyes. 

@reallycoykoifish - SPARKLES AND MAGICAL GIRLS. Has Magical Girl Monday, also known as The Best Part Of The Week. I want literally every piece of this art as a tshirt. 

@madeleinelovescolours - Pretty digital art in an oil painting style. Or often actual oil paintings! Deserves a pretty picture book. The kind you keep out for people to look at. 

@arts-n-craps Doesn’t always update regularly, but every update is beautiful. Worked with @madeleinelovescolours on possibly my favorite shot on GemAnimate, the Steven Universe reanimation project. 

@goodsniff - Character design! So emotive! Such folks! May not always be safe for work, but always safe for the soul. Also an incredibly talented animator. 

@lalou-art - how are there so many good artists and animators on tumblr. I don’t even think I’m halfway through the list. THE ART IS SOFT AND I WANT TO HUG IT. 

@katieelle - is it possible for art to be so cute you want to stick it in your mouth, like the art equivalent of a tide pod

@shannondraws - anime, miraculous ladybug, overwatch, video games, ALL VERY CUTE. Also part of the TAZ animated project. Please give them money; I am too poor.

@allyssinian - so pretty?? I don’t know anything about technical words for art (fuck film school it taught me nothing useful here) but the color choices are always just so?? good?? this art will keep me safe. I can nap in it. 

@r-i-v-e-r - I don’t even care about Voltron and still follow, that’s how good the fucking arts are

@mivisdrawings - GIVE ME THOSE DELICIOUS PASTELS.

@amymebberson - Artist behind Pocket Princesses. You’ve probably seen them around. 

@prinnay - has a kickstarter for a kids book, you should go fund it now! Her art makes me feel like I’m in outer space with fairies. SO MANY COLORS. 

@elucile - just fucking makes the most devastating amazing Sailor Moon fan animations and the like?? Goes off like they haven’t destroyed me?? I love them and their animation. Gosh. 

@troffie - Katie Mitroff, Steven Universe animator. ART.

@thisistab - Tab Is Beautiful. I can tell from the art, which is also beautiful. 

@tipsycanadian - Tipsy is my friend and also an actual animator in Canada and ALSO DRAWS THE CUTEST FUCKING SHIT ASLDKFJASKDJFALS I DIE. I. DIE. 

@crystalnyam - I found out about Brigitta Rena when I was playing video games with a friend for the independent game awards (so he could vote properly) and we played this game that was??? so pretty??? and I was like “WHO THE FUCK DREW THIS” and the answer was Brigitta so anyway that’s some good art there. Please go stick your eyes on it. 

@stardustinjune - I worry that this far down the list you’ve stopped paying attention and that would be a travesty because then you’d miss all these GOOD TAZ FEELINGS from ACTUALLY FUCKING STUPENDOUS ART. 

@buffycake - Look at this Star vs the Forces of Evil opening done in the style of Ranma ½. This is everything I ever needed out of life. It’s so fucking good.

@azurecomics - Sailor Moon, Pokemon, magical girls. Listen, am I a weeb? Yes. Am I ashamed? No. Is this art fucking A+++? YES. 

@thirdchildart - if you aren’t following Megan yet what even are you doing on the tumblrs. Remember that fucking amazing TAZ Balance trailer?? YEAH. 

@storyofthedoor - Self-described “Sailor Moon Trash Heap” has not met me, but does give more to the fandom than I ever could. SUCH GOOD ART. I love the style of the faces?? So good?? So many feelings? The Reinako comic slays me. 

@ellielotusart - COLORS I WANT TO LIVE MY LIFE IN. 

I am 1000000% forgetting many lovely people. ART. ART IS SO GOOD AND IMPORTANT.
